My journey began as an undergraduate student at Syracuse University

n a course on Far Eastern Religions taught by Dr. Huston Smith in 1970.

Inspired by the art and philosophy of the East, I continued my academic studies.

Then in 1973, I began my practice. I honor the many teachers who have inspired me...

and with great respect to Mr. B.K.S. Iyengar. I am blessed by my greatest teachers of all, my sons Sasha and Peter.
