Monica Veneziano, M.S.

Monica is a Mind/Body Therapist and an Art Historian with a specialization in Eastern Art. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor in Maha Raja Yoga under the guidance of Yogi Shri Khanna and is a Certified Neurolinguistic Practitioner. Trained in Integral Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga, Vipassana Meditation and Behavioral Medicine, Monica has studied Eastern philosophy since 1970 and taught yoga since 1973.
She was an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts College of Art (1984-1993), and taught yoga at Boston University (1979-1984). She taught/lectured (in Art History, Anthropology, Art Making) at the following institutions: The School of Fashion Design; Mt. Ida College; Newbury College; Danforth Museum; DeCordova Museum; Northeastern University, Boston University College of Medicine, Salem State College, Nantucket Island School of Art & Design, The Aveda Corporation; Multi-cultural consultant at The Children’s Museum and presenter of Multi-Cultural Art at various schools and civic organizations throughout Massachusetts. |
