Sheri Breen, B.A. Psychology
University of Massachusetts Amherst
Her journey began in 1999 and has since studied Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Forrest and Yin Yoga. Sheri believes that yoga is a deeply personal practice and encourages students to make it their own. She has worked in the mental health field for many years and currently facilitates trainings in this milieu.

Marjorie Crockett R.Y.T.
Yoga Instructor in Svaroopa style. 20+ years yoga & meditation practice. Background in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy. Since she began studying Svaroopa, Marjorie has had significant changes in her scoliosis.

Pamela Goodale, M.A.
English Literature
Pam has been studying at Yoga East since 2001. She has a background in music, creative writing and dance; and is currently on the Cooperative Education Faculty at Northeastern University. She is a flutist, has completed Reiki I training and is in the Yoga Teacher Apprenticeship Training with Monica.

Dede La Bella
A student of Monica's since 1994 in the Yoga Mind/Body Clinic where she substitute teaches and is the Yoga East Program Assistant

Jennifer Philley-Zolot, M.A.T. Tufts
Jennifer has studied Ashtanga yoga with Monica since 1996. She completed her initial Yogakids training in 2002, and studied yoga intensively at the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, Maine. Jennifer holds a masters degree in teaching and is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing.

Linda Preston, B.A. M.Ed. Tufts
Linda is an open and loving spirit. She is an enthusiastic member of Monica's Buddhist Study Group as well as a dedicated teacher and learner. She teaches with a gentle, user friendly style known as Pathways Yoga. Linda has served as a Kindergarten teacher in Winchester and a Lesley College Master Teacher. She was a Massachusetts Teacher of the Year for her work in PeaceMaking.

Zeliha Seckiner, MBA Brandeis University, International Business School
Kripalu certified yoga teacher who has practiced yoga on 3 continents. She has studied Ashtanga with Monica for years and experienced a wonderful rehabilitation from a painful back surgery. Her Turkish style bellydancing will enchant you.

Facilitates yogaand art classes for children and adults and has worked with children for 16+ years and brings compassion and expertise to all her classes.

Mary has been a student of Monica's since 1997. Her yoga practice has made a significant difference in her life, positively impacting all domains. She hopes to share her knowledge with her students so that they, too, can experience the joy of yoga.

Leila Tutela, B.A. Biology
As a former biology and anatomy/physiology teacher, Leila brings to her yoga practice and teaching a deep understanding of the dynamics of the human body. Practicing yoga since 1977 and under Monica's tutelage for over 25 years, Leila, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1975, has first-hand experience of yoga's therapeutic effects.
